Anne Osmundson has a robust background in local government and political engagement. She graduated from Central High School and has held various roles within the Clayton County Republican Party, including Secretary. Osmundson has also served on the Clayton County Planning and Zoning Commission and the Clayton County Judicial Magistrate Appointing Commission. She gained legislative experience as a clerk to a representative before being elected to the Iowa House of Representatives, where she chaired the House Ethics Committee.
