Mark Lamb spent his childhood in multiple countries, graduating from Chandler High School in 1990. He began his career in pest control before transitioning to law enforcement, working for the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community police department and later the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. Lamb's business ventures include a failed paintball enterprise in Utah, which led to bankruptcy and a return to Arizona in 2003. He was elected sheriff of Pinal County in 2017, where he gained media attention for his appearances on Live PD and other news outlets, and for his stance on border security and COVID-19 mandates.
