U.S.A.
Warren Davidson graduated near the top of his class from the United States Military Academy at West Point in American history and mechanical engineering before earning an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He served in various officer roles within the Army, including in the 3rd Infantry Division, the Old Guard, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and the 101st Airborne Division. After his military career, Davidson returned to Ohio to manage his family's business, eventually becoming managing director of RK Metals and president of West Troy, which he later combined and renamed Integral Manufacturing. Davidson has also held public office, serving on the Concord Township, Ohio, Board of Trustees and as a Member of Congress.
Warren Davidson's political identity is marked by a blend of staunch conservatism and unexpected policy alliances. His military background informs a hawkish stance on national security, yet he combines this with an unusual advocacy for limited federal intervention in economic matters, including student loans and Social Security. Davidson's healthcare policy showcases a surprising alignment with free-market principles, opposing federal mandates while advocating for patient transparency and choice. His immigration stance, while restrictive, includes a conditional visa program that diverges from typical hardline positions. Davidson's rhetoric consistently emphasizes the protection of individual liberties, whether through religious freedom or Second Amendment rights, revealing a deeply ideological yet strategically nuanced approach.
